Youth Transitional Housing
Mueller’s Helping Hand project began ten years ago, when non-profit organizations were affected by the economic downturn. Recognizing the challenges of non-profits, Mueller wanted to support a deserving Texas organization in their efforts to aid those in need. This past spring, applications poured in from across the state.
Family Ties was selected as the 2018 recipient of the Mueller Helping Hand building. We are so excited to see this 4,000 square foot building evolve into youth transitional housing for our community. Upon making the announcement, Mike Fry, director of marketing for Mueller said, “We are pleased to award this building to Family Ties. They are providing support and services to hundreds of children and completely changing their future.”
Now, Family Ties is working tirelessly towards the completion of this project. The sewer line has been added in, and Family Ties has applied for our final permit for the project! This permit would allow us to complete all of the final steps for The Mueller House and bring this project to fruition. There are still many more things that need to be done for this project, and Family Ties is asking for your help! Any donation can help, no matter how small. Please donate today to help ensure the safe future of homeless youth in our community!
